About a year and a half ago, Jared and I were able to go to camping right outside of Helen in Enota Mountain Retreat. The past year has been so crazy with an endless cycle of busy jobs and job changes, and all the little things in between that I'm just now taking the time to go through these. (Notice how short my hair was!)
While there, we relaxed in the rain (even hiked in the rain), cooked, walked around Helen a little bit. Mostly we just relaxed and had fun. It's a beautiful little place. Besides the on-site hiking, we ventured out to Brasstown Bald & Anna Ruby Falls. (Note to self: if you really want to enjoy Brasstown Bald, don't hike up when it's foggy.) And if you want a really yummy little coffee shop to go to, try Hot and Sweet Coffee Company in downtown Helen. (In our defense we DID make our on coffee at the campsite, but we may or may not have visited this shop more than once.)
